Prison servers come in two flavours — Classic Prison (slow grind, vanilla-ish economy) and OP Prison (instant rewards, custom enchants, fast prestige loops). The list mixes both; check tags for OP / Classic / Modded variants.
Most modern prison servers add PvP zones, gangs, custom pickaxe enchants, prestige tokens and weekly events on top of the core rankup loop.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does a Prison server work?
You start in mine A, mine blocks and sell them for in-game currency, then pay to rank up through mines B, C, D and onward. Each higher mine has more valuable blocks. Reaching the final rank lets you prestige and start over with permanent buffs.
What is OP Prison?
A faster Prison variant with custom enchants, boosted sell prices, and aggressive prestige loops. Progression is much quicker than classic Prison and designed for players who want to reach high ranks within days rather than weeks.
What enchants matter most on Prison servers?
Custom enchants like Explosive, JackHammer, and Haste stacking are the core meta on most Prison servers. These dramatically increase the area mined per swing. Standard Fortune and Efficiency still apply but the custom enchant system is where most progression happens.
Do Prison servers have PvP?
Most have designated PvP mines or warzones where players can fight for bonus loot, but the main mines are usually PvP protected. Some servers run full PvP Prison where combat is open everywhere.
