On Java Edition, open Minecraft, click Multiplayer → Add Server, paste the server IP into the Server Address field, click Done, then select the server and press Join Server. On Bedrock Edition, Pocket Edition and consoles, go to Play → Servers → Add Server, enter a name, paste the Bedrock address in the Server Address field and the port (19132 unless the listing says otherwise), then tap Play. If the connection fails, check that your Minecraft version matches the version shown on the listing — most servers only accept a specific range, and outdated clients are the single most common reason a join attempt times out.

Ranking is driven by real player votes. Every vote a server receives during the current calendar month counts toward its position, and the vote count resets on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UTC, so a server that stops earning votes drops and a newly listed server can reach the top within weeks. Then narrow by edition and version so the server matches your client, and by country if ping matters to you. Java Edition runs on Windows, macOS and Linux and connects using an address such as play.example.com. Bedrock Edition covers Windows 10/11, mobile, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox, and needs both an address and a port — usually 19132. The two editions cannot join each other by default, which is why the listing labels each server Java, Bedrock or crossplay. A cracked server runs in offline mode, meaning it does not verify accounts with Mojang's authentication servers, so players without a purchased copy of Minecraft can join.
