Teams spawn on separate islands each with a bed. Collect resources from generators, buy gear and blocks, attack rival islands, and break their beds. A team whose bed is destroyed cannot respawn when they die.

Solo, Doubles, Threes, and Fours are the standard modes. Some networks run Mega BedWars with larger squads and bigger maps. Solo is the most skill-testing since there is no one to cover mistakes.

The most common defences are wool layers to slow attackers down, a single layer of obsidian over the bed itself, and end stone for a harder outer shell. More layers slow attackers but also cost more resources to build.

Bridge to mid first for better resources, use a fast bridge technique to reach enemy islands quickly, and target beds before engaging players. Breaking the bed and leaving is often better than fighting and risking your own death.
