HCF stands for Hardcore Factions. It is competitive Factions with deathbans, KOTH events, and seasons that end in EOTW. Every fight has real consequences and the map resets when the season ends. Not for casual players.
HCF strips factions down to its sharpest form: die, get deathbanned, lose your gear. Seasons start with Start-of-the-World, peak around king-of-the-hill events, and end with EOTW where the map collapses and the strongest faction wins.
Pick a server with active scheduled KOTHs and weekly events for the real HCF experience. Looking for slower factions? See /servers/factions.
Hardcore Factions. The key difference from regular Factions is the deathban. When you die, you are locked out of the server for hours. It makes every fight genuinely high stakes.
End of the World. The final event of an HCF season where all protections drop and factions fight for full map domination before the server resets for a new season.
King of the Hill. A timed capture event where factions compete to hold a central location. Holding it longest earns loot crates and competitive points for your faction.
No. Regular Factions is slower and longer form without deathbans. HCF is the competitive short-season variant built around high stakes PvP. See /servers/factions for the standard version.
