Best Minecraft 1.12 Servers

1.12 is the modded era. It is still the single most important version for Forge packs, and Pixelmon in particular keeps it alive.

An enormous amount of mod work targeted 1.12.2 and never moved on, so packs that exist nowhere else still run here. If you are hunting for a specific old pack, or for classic Pixelmon with gyms and leagues, this is the page for it.

Vanilla players will find the pre-flattening world familiar rather than dated. Bring the exact client version the listing asks for, because modded servers will reject anything that does not match their pack.

Try a nearby version too: 1.21, 1.20.4, 1.19, 1.18.2.

Minecraft 1.12 servers: common questions

Why is 1.12.2 still popular?

The modded ecosystem standardised on it. Thousands of Forge mods, including long-running Pixelmon packs, target 1.12.2 and were never ported to newer releases.
